Port Townsend Art Guild ‘Holiday Craft Sale’

This annual event is held on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday following Thanksgiving in Uptown at the Port Townsend Community Center (620 Tyler St.) from 10am to 5pm both days. Come dive into the holiday shopping season with locally handmade arts and crafts!

Port Townsend Wine & Cheese Tour

Join the Port Townsend Wine & Cheese Tour! Four great wineries to tour and enjoy their delicious wine with specially curated cheese pairings. Join the tour and visit Eaglemount Winery & Cidery, FairWinds Winery, Port Townsend Vineyards, and Rain Coast Cellars. Pick your day (either Saturday, November 11th or Sunday, November 12th) and at which winery you’re likely to start the tour and you’re all set!  All participants will receive a commemorative wine glass, 3 tastings at each winery, and cheese pairings. This is a 21+ event.

North Olympic Salmon’s Evening of Wine Tasting

Join the North Olympic Salmon Coalition on November 14th for a special evening of wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres hosted by Andrew Wiese, Wine Director at the Resort of Port Ludlow.

You’ll hear from our educators about the impact of our school programs on students and salmon across the Olympic Peninsula and learn how you can support our work.

Haunted Histories & Mysteries

Explore the World of the Unknown at HAUNTED HISTORIES & MYSTERIES OF PORT TOWNSEND. The Victorian Seaport of Port Townsend, WA was founded in 1851. Our colorful town has many tales to tell—of shipwrecks, shanghaiing, lost loves, unexplained events and a haunted past that is felt even today. Be open to the possibilities. Come for a weekend of ghostly fun along the waterfront at one of our town’s newest events: “Haunted Histories & Mysteries of Port Townsend.”

Paranormal Investigations at Manresa Castle, The James & Hastings Building, The Hastings Building, Officer’s Row the Steward’s Cottage, and the School House at Fort Worden.

Historic Building Tour of the 1890 Hastings Building with Descendants of the Hastings Family – Saturday, October 28th from Noon – 2:00pm – Take a tour of the1889 Hastings Building on Water Street in Downtown Port Townsend. Meet the descendants of Lucinda Hastings and have rare access to this iconic landmark building.

Haunted Walks – Friday, October 27th at 3:00pm and Saturday, October 28th at 2:00pm – Hear true stories from Port Townsend’s haunted past and present. This experience is outdoors so please dress for the weather.

Connecting with the Other Side with Psychic Medium Ankhasha Amenti – Friday, October 27th at 6pm and Saturday, October 28th at 4:00pm – Are you curious how psychic mediums connect with the other side? Join us when Psychic Medium Ankhasha Amenti brings messages from loved ones to audience members and demonstrates the ancient art of psychometry. Psychometry is the process of touching an object and extracting information about the time, place or persons connected to it in the past and present. Bring a personal item that belonged to your loved one–you may be chosen for a reading!

Boos & Spirits Mixer – Friday, October 27th 4:30 – 5:30pm – Meet kindred spirits! Free drop in event for event ticketholders at the Old Whiskey Mill, 1038 Water St.; no-host bar, must be 21+.

Tell Your Tales at the Guardhouse – Saturday, October 28th 6:00pm – Fort Worden State Park. We invite ticketholders to come share your own encounters with the spirit world at Taps. No host bar, must be 21+. Check out the jail at the back of the bar.

PLEASE NOTE:

INFORMATION CENTER at the Cotton Building, 607 Water Street – Tickets will be sold on a space-available basis at the Cotton Building.

Attendees are required to sign an event waiver.

Haunted Histories & Mysteries is open to ticket-holders aged 16 years and older. Tell Your Tales at the Guardhouse and the Boos & Spirits Mixer are held in bars and you must be 21+ to enter. Bring valid ID.

At the investigations, psychic readings and tours, food and drink are not allowed with the exception of water. Photography is permitted.

ADA LIMITATIONS

Many of Port Townsend’s historic buildings are accessed by steep stairs and are not ADA accessible. We apologize for this limitation. It pertains to the paranormal investigations at Fort Worden, the Manresa Castle, the James & Hastings Building and the Hastings Building Tour.

Girls Night Out “Red Carpet Divas”

Main Street’s annual Girls’ Night Out promotion typically brings 400-500 women downtown on the first Thursday in October and is a fun event to raise funds for Jefferson Healthcare Community Foundation to help provide free Breast/Cervical Cancer screenings for local women in need and the Port Townsend Main Street Program through the sale of 500 goodie bags.
