American singer-songwriter Spencer Day is best known as a finalist on CBS’ network show “Star Search” and for his subsequent hit jazz single, “Till You Come To Me.” But this modern jazz vocalist and pianist is as comfortable with Broadway and pop as he is re-crafting Cole Porter and George Gershwin. Counting everyone from Chet Baker, Joni Mitchell, John Lennon and Paul Simon as his early influences, Day has released six albums and appeared coast to coast, from the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. to the Monterrey Jazz Festival.
