Come see what makes the Tour de Lavender “More than just a ride….It’s an Experience!”

About the Rides
METRIC CENTURY – This classic long-distance ride takes cyclists on a loop route that visits 8 lavender farms, traveling the back roads of the Sequim-Dungeness Valley, the rolling foothills of the Olympic Mountains to the south, and nearly 30 miles along the scenic, traffic-free Olympic Discovery Trail, a paved, multi-use trail that is the crown jewel of the North Olympic Peninsula’s network of scenic bikeways. The Metric Century course officially opens at 8:00 a.m., and closes at 4:00 p.m. Metric Century registration fee: $75 per person ($15 for children under 12).

FUN RIDE – This very special family-friendly loop is designed for people of all ages and abilities. It is a mostly level, easy course that runs along back roads in the valley and parts of the Olympic Discovery Trail. The entire loop is 35 miles and encompasses nine lavender farms, but cyclists can opt for shorter out-and-back treks to selected farms. Fun ride online registration: $75 per person ($15 for children under 12).

Come Explore “America’s Provence”
The Tour de Lavender is an annual cycling event sponsored by the Peninsula Trails Coalition (PTC) in partnership with lavender farms in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley. Through the Tour de Lavender (TdL) we seek to promote awareness and appreciation of the unique beauty of the Olympic Peninsula and the world-class lavender farms in “America’s Provence.” TdL has become the premier regional cycling event for riders from beginner to expert, and a way to experience a whole new world of cycling adventure on the Olympic Peninsula. Since 2013, more than $135,000 in proceeds from the Tour have been donated to local non-profits.
