Port Ludlow Resort welcomes one of Washington’s most distinctive red-wine producers for a very special Winemaker Dinner on Thursday, February 5th, 2026 from 6pm to 9pm, as we host Love That Red Winery, a small, family-owned Washington winery devoted exclusively to exceptional red wines.
Known for extended barrel aging that rivals the great houses of Rioja, Love That Red Winery practices some of the longest barrel aging in the United States—second only to Rioja Gran Reserva worldwide. Drawing from a diverse range of Washington vineyard sites, their winemaking philosophy emphasizes patience, precision, and the art of blending to build layered complexity, intrigue, and structure over time.
As the only horse-racing-themed winery in the country, Love That Red Winery represents a spirited marriage of two passions: the pursuit of world-class red wines and the timeless allure of the sport of kings. This distinctive, story-rich identity is reflected in every bottle.
