PLPA: Alias Brass

These five virtuoso musicians will be delivering a show certain to capture the essence of the holiday season in an excitingly unique genre. Since 2013, Alias Brass’ mission has been to expand the traditional boundaries of the brass quintet and indeed, the mission is succeeding. From Baroque and Classical, the group moves easily to jazz, pop and what has been dubbed “chamber music of the future.” Diverse and innovative, Alias Brass has strived to engage its audiences through varying cultural, gender and global influences. Members of the Alias Brass Company also teach at workshops, seminars and in classrooms. But its heart and soul is performing – hundreds of concerts from Canada to Brazil and every corner of the United States – where they have honed their singular entertainment experience.
