Canine Costume Parade
The Port Ludlow Village Council is excited to announce its Second Annual Canine Costume Contest to be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Just in time for Halloween, dog owners will dress their canines in comfortable costumes and follow a short parade route along the waterfront, led by a Grand Marshall. Our esteemed judge will select a winner for first, second, and third place. A prize will be awarded for each of the three winners. Dogs must have up-to-date rabies vaccinations to participate.
New This Year! Scarecrow Walk: Homemade Scarecrow creations will be displayed along the Scarecrow Walk, during the Canine Costume Parade.
Free to enter and attend, open to all. Super prize for “BEST IN CROW,” community vote during the event; winner announced at the end of the event. Must be present to win.
